SERVICES

HAL offers consultation within heritage, leisure and the arts to undertake:

  1. comprehensive assessments and review of whole organisations or specific aspects of the organisation and/or its operations

  2. help with putting together or honing marketing strategies

  3. implementation of recommendations, specifically: special "starter" or "booster" resource scheme for small organisations to learn how to manage marketing (including advertising) effectively and without waste.

For example: a small stately home open to the public wants to boost its marketing. This could consist of the following tasks, among others:

  • re-design its branding (leaflets, advertising designs),
  • create a simple website,
  • undertake basic market research,
  • increase its press coverage.

The organisation may need to develop all or just a few of these activities. Even if the expertise is there, the organisation does not have in-house staff to carry out these tasks. HAL can undertake this work for the organisation, either on a long-term basis, or as a "starter" service, to get systems set up in such a way that the organisation can then carry on by itself using the tools provided. HAL will train and mentor staff to continue the work as required. See Resources for more details.
